VISIT TO A PLACE OF HISTORICAL INTEREST

Bangalees are generally fond of travelling in this respect I am not an exception.India has a colourful history. Obviously there are many places of historical interest .Last year during the puja vacation I went to visit Agra .It is famous for incomparable beauty of Tajmahal. Our team included my family along with the family of my friend. We were six in number.We left for Agra on 26th January by train. I never visited the place before. As the night grew the compartment became silent with only the rhythmic sound of moving train. Next morning we got down at Agra. Even from the station we could feel the majestic Tajmahal. The Tajmahal is built of snow white transparent marble. Though built centuries ago, it retains its dignity and freshness till date .It is a mausoleum built by Sahajahan on the grave of his beloved with Mumtaz Begam. At Agra we stayed in a hotel for seven day. Everyday we visited one or other sites having historic connections .Agra is a city where history speaks out everywhere.
