CELEBRATION OF KANYASHREE DIVAS

A.B.C. H S , Bankura,8th January ,2022 :Our school observed Kanyashree Divas in our school in a befitting manner ,last Wednesday . Different programmes were undertaken to make the students aware of the significance of the day .The D.I of schools presided over the programme . The other dignitaries were B.D.O ,the local M.L.A  and the principal of local college. The programme started at 11 am and continued till 4 pm. In the beginning the headmaster delivered a long speech on the significance of the day. He spoke in detail why the social scheme had been introduced, its objectives and how the beneficiaries were going to benefit from it. Several other speakers including students also spoke on the theme of the occasion. Each of the speakers highlighted the aims and objectives of the Kanyashree Scheme. The speakers also thanked the West Bengal Chief Minister as it was her brainchild. The speakers called upon the girls of our school to avail themselves of the scheme and maximise its benefits in their own life. The programme included some songs and recitations which were entertaining to the students and guests. There was also an arrangement of refreshment at the end.
