Sub: Leave of absence

Sir/ Madam

This is to inform you that I, Mitu Gorai, a student of class IX, Sec-A of your school beg for leave for   three days. I shall not be able to attend my classes from 18 April to 20 April on account of my grandmother's serious illness. My grandmother, presently who lives with my uncle in Delhi, has been hospitalised with serious breathing trouble. For the last few months her condition of health has not been good. The news has made me totally upset. I have a strong mental bonding with her. My parents will leave by tomorrow and I have to accompany them .

I therefore , pray to your kind honour to approve a leave for three days only. Whatever loss in studies I suffer , I will try to make up for that .I shall be highly obliged if you kindly grant me permission.
