Ans : People used to come Kalam's father for his blessing .They believed that he was a pious soul who could play the role of mere mediator .They wanted that he would pacify the formidable forces of destiny and thereby save them from trouble and adversity .Kalam's father felt for them. He did not hurt their belief in him .But he did not support their approach .
