"Then I had better not get too familiar."-Who is the speaker? When did the speaker make this remark?  Write  a note on the character of the speaker with reference -

Ans:In Ruskin Bond's short story " The Eyes Have It", the narrator is the speaker.

In course of conversation the girl passenger told the narrator that she would get off at Saharanpur. She also informed  that her aunt was waiting there to receive her.Hearing this, the narrator made the above remark.

This remark describes  that the narrator has a fine sense of humour. Again, he is a man of emotions. He speaks out what stirs him.
