Ans:- In Ruskin Bond's short story 'The Eyes Have It' the girl said this to the narrator.

The girl passenger got in the compartment at Rohana. The narrator had already been there. But the narrator asked the girl if she was going all the way to Dehra. The narrator's voice statled the girl. And  then the girl said this.

The narrator was hurt to hear the girl. He was totally blind. The narrator felt that people with good eyesight did not take the blind into account. They were engaged in so many things that they often cared not those who were just before them.
