Q.The man who had entered the comportment broke into my reverie."-Who is the speaker? What was the reverie? How did the man break the reverie?

Ans:- In Ruskin Bond's short story 'The Eyes Have It' the speaker is the narrator.

The narrator had a brief encounter with the girl. This young girl was the co-passenger of the narrator in the train journey. He liked the voice of the girl. Her sweet company fascinated him deeply. The perfume from her hair was still in the air. The girl got down at Saharanpur. The narrator was  thinking deeply about the girl. This was the reverie of the narrator.

The new passenger who entered the compartment broke the narrator's reverie. He remarked that the narrator must be disappointed. He also informed the narrator that he was not as attractive a travelling companion as the girl who had just left the train.
