Q."She was an interesting girl"-- Who said this and to whom? When was the remark made? What else did the speaker say? What reply did he receive?
Answer: In Ruskin Bond's short story '' The Eyes Have It '' the narrator said this to his new co-passenger.
The girl got down from the train compartment at Saharanpur. After her departure a male passenger came in and broke into the narrator's reverie by informing that he was not so attractive a travelling companion as the girl. Just at that moment the narrator made the above remark.
The narrator also wanted to know from his new co-passenger whether the girl had her hair long or short.
The new fellow traveller informed the narrator that he had not noticed her hair. He had noticed only her beautiful eyes. He further told the narrator that her beautiful eyes were of no use as she was completely blind.
