Now summer leaves. And appears winter .Frost has wrought silence. The Crickets chirp. They add an animating warmth to the cold winter .They are but the continuation of earth‘s music. At once the deadening and depressing surroundings become alive with music. The man beside the hearth feels warmer..It seems to him that he still hears the songs of the grasshopper. The title is the catch word of the poem . It is an excellent choice.
