Bishnupur , Bankura, April 22 ,2023: A terrible bus accident took place at Bishnupur on 21.04.2023.The accident occurred around 1 p.m . A private bus heading towards Arambagh collided with a truck near Bypass Bhagatsingh More as the driver of the bus lost his control when the brake of the bus failed .At least five persons including a child and a woman were injured .Local people rushed to the spot. They started rescue operation .The injured persons were taken to the nearby hospital with the help of the locals .They were released after first aid as their injuries were not serious .However, the accident created unrest among the public who blocked the road to stage their protest. The traffic, therefore, was disrupted for an hour. The police came to the spot and dispersed the mob. Normalcy was restored .

Tension ran high here in the early morning today as a bus collided with a truck on Bishnupur Expressway due to brake fail.

The Bankura-bound bus was coming from Kolkata at a high speed.

Five people including a child and a woman were injured.

All of them were taken to the local hospital in no time.

They were released with first aid after an hour.

According to an eye-witness, a speeding bus collided with another speeding truck coming from the opposite direction.

The injured persons were rushed to hospital for treatment.

After the accident the traffic on the G.T. Road was disrupted for an hour.

The police came to the spot and dispersed the mob.

At least five persons including a child and a woman were injured when a private bus heading towards Arambagh hit a stationary truck on the Bankura.
