According to an eye-witness ,while overtaking a Maruti car ,the speeding private car collided with a scooter which was coming from the opposite direction .As a result the scooterist died on the spot.Hearing a loud sound ,local people rushed to the spot . The owner of private car escaped from the spot. Local people informed the police .After sometime police reached the spot. Subsequently, an outraged mob blocked the road, causing chaos. Police intervened about the matter and took necessary steps . They brought the situation under control after an hour. They soon cleared the traffic and normalcy was restored.
