I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your esteemed daily to express my views about  the deteriorating drainage system in our locality, and I implore your newspaper to shed light on this pressing issue that affects our community.

Over the past few months, the inadequacy of the drainage infrastructure has become increasingly evident. Even light rainfall results in waterlogging. It is creating a breeding ground for mosquitoes and posing a severe health risk for the residents. The stagnant water not only raises health concerns but also damages the roads, making them perilous for commuters.

Despite numerous complaints made to the local authorities, no substantial action has been taken to address this matter. The lack of an efficient drainage system is adversely impacting the quality of life in our neighborhood, and we feel neglected by the authorities who should be responsible for our well-being.

Under the above circumstances I therefore ,request you to write the leading article on the topic so that government or concerned authority should take appropriate steps as early as possible.
