At the beginning of the letter,you have my utmost respect. I hope you all are well by the grace of God. I am also fine by the grace of God.The annual exams have concluded, and I am pleased to inform you that they went well.The hostel routine has become monotonous, and I'm feeling the need for a change. One of my friends has invited me to his/her house.She lives in Kolkata.(I want to stay there for seven days. I want to visit a lot of historical places).I would like to stay there for seven days and explore/visit numerous historical places.

I assure you it's a safe place, and it will be a refreshing change. The visit won't interfere with any post-exam activities.
