The Wise Judge

Unable to resolve the matter, they sought justice from the renowned King Solomon, known for his unparalleled wisdom. As the conflicting tales persisted, King Solomon, undeterred, devised a decisive plan. He commanded his servant to cut the child into equal halves, intending to grant each woman a portion.

A tense silence filled the court until one woman, fueled by genuine maternal instinct, cried out, "Don't cut the child! Let her have the child." The true mother revealed herself through her selfless plea. The other woman remained silent, exposing her deceit. Recognizing the authentic bond between mother and child, King Solomon, in his sagacity, awarded the weeping woman custody of her beloved child. Justice prevailed, demonstrating that true wisdom is a potent force.
