Respected Sir,

With due respect I,(Your Name),wish to inform you about the loss of my bicycle at around 4 in the afternoon yesterday. I had kept my bicycle locked in front of _____Gram Panchayat  _____. I had gone to bring a residential certificate. I was utterly dismayed on finding my cycle missing when I came out of the Gram Panchayat. I searched desperately but was unable to find it. It was a new blue  Hero bicycle with my name written on the chainguard.

I shall be grateful to you if you kindly look into the matter and take proper steps immediately to recover my lost bicycle. I hope for your prompt action.
