Respected Sir,

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your esteemed daily to express my views about the bad condition of road in our locality. 

For the last few months the roads of ______have been almost impassable. The surface of the road is so badly broken that it is dangerous for motors and carriages to pass that way. Moreover, large drains and heaps of road metal on either side of the road leave very little room for pedestrians to walk along it. We are experiencing accidents nearly every day

Under the above circumstances I therefore ,request you to write the leading article on the topic so that government or concerned authority should take appropriate steps as early as possible.
