Sub: Hazards caused by polluted water.

Respected Sir.

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your esteemed daily to express my views about  the hazards caused by polluted water.

For the last few months in the rainy season the water of our locality has been polluted. It poses a serious health hazard for the people in general and children in particular. In this connection, let me point out that the wayside drains are not cleaned regularly. As a result, the drains get choked and water logged. Similarly, piling of garbage near the market is also causing this pollution. To make the situation worse, the vendors go no selling cut fruits merrily.(To make the situation worse, the vendors continue to sell cut fruits merrily.) People are suffering from jaundice, enteritis and malaria due to this polluted water.

Under the above circumstances I, therefore ,request you to write the leading article on the topic so that government or concerned authority should take appropriate steps as early as possible.

(Would you take proper steps for regular clearance of garbage and cleaning of drains? Of course, people of the locality should also join the cleaning operation. I request you to come forward with a comprehensive Editorial column.)

Yours Faithfully,

For the last few months, during the rainy season, the water in our locality has been polluted, posing a serious health hazard for people in general and children in particular. I must point out that the wayside drains are not regularly cleaned, leading to them getting choked and waterlogged. Similarly, the piling of garbage near the market is also contributing to this pollution. To exacerbate the situation, vendors continue selling cut fruits merrily. People are suffering from jaundice, enteritis, and malaria due to this polluted water.

Would you please take proper steps for the regular clearance of garbage and cleaning of drains? Of course, the people of the locality should also participate in the cleaning operation. I request you to come forward with a comprehensive editorial column addressing these concerns
