Respected sir,

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your esteemed daily to express my views about  the hazards of using polythene bags. 

Polythene bags can neither be burnt nor buried. Throwing it away clogs the arteries of the entire system. It emits toxic chemicals which can cause cancer and congenital defects. It can damage the nervous system, blood, kidneys and immunity systems. Polythene bags spread over cultivable land and prevent the growth of crops. In a word, polythene bags have laid our death traps. Its use must be stopped. 

Under the above circumstances I ,therefore ,request you to write the leading article on the topic so that government or concerned authority should take appropriate steps as early as possible.
