Sub: Dire Condition of Hospitals

Respected Sir.

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your esteemed daily to express my views about  the dire condition of hospitals in our area. Most hospitals are overcrowded. Patients are often seen lying on the floor as there are not enough beds to provide them with basic comfort. The situation is made worse by the lack of hygiene. Garbage and medical waste are often left unattended and it is creating a breeding ground for infections and further endangering the health of patients. Moreover, the management of these hospitals is utterly disorganized. There is a severe shortage of doctors and nurses. The available medical staff often neglect their duties. This negligence leads to the suffering of patients.( Patients are left to suffer.  )

Basic diagnostic tests are either not conducted or outsourced to private clinics, making the treatment process slower and costlier. Additionally, many important posts for doctors and medical staff remain vacant, leaving hospitals ill-equipped to handle emergencies. As a result, helpless patients often die due to inadequate care. The frustration of the common people is growing daily.

Under the above circumstances I, therefore ,request you to write the leading article on the topic so that the government or concerned authority should take appropriate steps as early as possible.

Yours sincerely,
