However, during his absence, a ghost impersonates him, taking over his house and family. The ghost’s identical appearance deceives everyone, including his wife and mother. Upon returning, the Brahman is shocked and helpless when even his family does not recognize him. Despite being driven out of his home, he remains patient and seeks justice from the king.  

The Brahman’s simplicity and helplessness evoke sympathy from readers. Though he lacks heroic qualities, his love for his family and his perseverance stand out. Eventually, with the help of the wise neatherd king, the ghost is defeated, and the Brahman regains his rightful place. His character highlights the virtues of dedication, humility, and resilience.
