The Cry That Stopped Revenge

One day, a young elephant from a herd entered a village.Being scared of the animal, the villagers killed it. The herd of elephants was heartbroken. The next day, they came to the village to take revenge.  The elephants began destroying houses, fields, and anything in their path. The villagers ran away in fear. But in the chaos, a small child was left behind. The child started crying loudly.  Hearing the cry, the elephants stopped. The leader of the herd moved closer, looked at the child, and gently stepped back. Slowly, the elephants returned to the forest.  The villagers watched silently, feeling ashamed. They realized their mistake and promised never to harm the elephants again.
